Nice!! I'm still keeping an eye of for my AAR. :-( Did you view the car before you purchased it?
I remember you saying you were over in the states for a while, or use to live there.

I had a mate from Chicago look at it as the car was at the Volo Museum. Had the guy send me a 20min video. Sure, its not the best way to buy a car but the guy i brought it of is the same guy who has owned it for 16yrs and who did the 3yr rotisserie
on it. Spent a lot of time on the phone with him and I feel comfortable with the deal.

Hey, pretty quiet on here....everyone must be asleep...lol

I spent about 15 yrs living in Ft. Lauderdale. Oh, I live in Auckland.

That would also be enough for me. I had a couple of guys check out some cars for me, here is a link to the one that was pretty to close to becoming a New Zealander. lol Auckland, ack, can't stand Auckland, no offence. :-)

May be a little off topic, but isnt the '68 R/T stripe ment to be split down the middle?

Some did (most did) some didn't.
I prefer the full stripe although if it came down to it any stripe size would suit me fine on a car like that. lol

I still prefer no stripes though. :-)

Yeah, he liked to hid his work behind paint, even the paint was shoddy in most places.
How deceiving photos can be eh........... :-(

You wouldn't happen to know of any American or Aussie Chryslers for sale would you?
