Now if someone can resize them for me as my new laptop doesn't have that powertoys download in it to fix these that would be appreciated. I can hear MEK now, sorry bud.

It works quite well. I tuned it up as well as changed the secondary spring and advanced the timing. Comes on very strong at lower RPM now. {Insert big cheesy grin here}

JS,

I see you went with the correct 70-later valve covers...did you buy them new, and if you did, where did you get them. I need just one for my 70 Cuda (i have the one for the PCV valve). What was required for the single 4 bbl air cleaner modifications?

Looks good, BTW!

Wow!!! Nice job...looks like a work of art!  I think I would have to keep it a while to "test" it to make sure all the bugs were out!

btw...fixed those pics for ya.

You know I didn't snap any pics!! I had a local sheet metal shop take 2" out of the neck of a 69 B body 440 fresh air cleaner.
I had to grind away most of the bridge that the wingnuts fasten to to clear the choke blade and bowl vents. Had to trim the front bowl vent a little as well.  If you really need a pic and can get my cust to e-mail me one.

The Valve covers were the new Mopar part#'s. I think last time was I was talking with Ben Snobar he was mentioning he was coming out with some as well??

It was a fun project, wish I could spend more time throughtout the day working on these than the newer stuff.

When my 426 crate motor was shipped, one of the valve covers was damaged. Summit Racing stood behind it 100% and ordered new valve covers. They let me pay the difference and I got the correct black krinkles. They were $650 less the $400 for the chrome ones, so I ended up paying $250 difference. They're Mopar Peformance valve covers but they're made in Taiwan if I remember correctly. They took about 3 months to get. They look good, but I was expecting Amercian made products.
