Or a vacuum cleaner on steriods!Actually my dirty old shop vac is better looking than that horrid thing!Get rid of that stupid looking grille and add some retro style and they might have something to compete with the `stang.

that "Challenger" is nasty. I like the black one and the cuda. hopefully someone important will see what everyone likes and go that way. I would buy one if they came out like the black one and I have been against cars made after 74 since I was old enough to work on them.

That "challenger" looks like a Crossfire with a truck grill.  It won't compete with the new Mustang.

NZ- Tried the email that you posted, but for some reason it keeps getting kicked back.

Yep, that purple concept on the first page looks pretty bad... and the company seriously needs to think about designing another grill. I know, its better for tooling costs to have everyone use the same parts- but its just getting ridiculous!

Yeah, 2 doors, Hemi power, and a 6 speed would be cool but it may not be enough.  Look at the GTO.  It has 400hp, 6 speed tranny, 2 doors and it isn't selling well because it's a let down to the GTO legend.

We'll just have to wait and see what DC stirs up.  Hope what ever they make live up to the Challenger name.  It's sort of like I want to see the new Challenger but at the same time I'm afraid to.

I think the problem with the Goat is there are NO visual clues that it even IS a Goat. My next door neighbor had one for 6 weeks before I even noticed what it was. I walked over and was talking to him while he was washing it when I noticed it. It is VERY generic looking. It could have been a Honda, Toyota, or any other intermediate size car.  If Pontiac wants to wake up the sales, they need to do a complete retro style job and give it at least a few visual clues as to it's identity. It has a decent engine, but you can't even hear it. Just my 0.02...........Oldschool

Super Blue 72: The problem with the GTO is that it looks like a Grand Am. The General was really asleep on that one. I think Chrysler is usually ahead of the curve on styling.

Having said that, I think that the new four door Chargers are goofy. If I want a 4 door I would rather buy that nice looking Chrysler that looks like a Bentley.

Come on DC, pull your finger out your ar$e and make a car that sells....................

You mean a car that sells to the general masses (new Charger), or, just one that sells to us niche market performance enthusiasts?

Okay, now on to my gripes.

First off, if THAT'S the concept, it's hideous.  Not even I like it.

2ndly, DCX better let the Barracuda nameplate rest.  Dodge Cuda or Chrysler Cuda just doesn't sound right.  That would be like making a Chevy Trans Am.  Just plain wrong.

3rd, it WILL have that crosshair grill, because that's Dodge's signature, it's required on all Dodge models.  I just hope they use one like the Viper.  Small, and elegant, instead of big and dominating.
