Hi lemurfart,

Sorry, late in the game, but here's a couple of pics of the cardboard that goes between the seat and the rear seat brace, in and out of the car.

Also note, if you have'nt already, that the jacks are different for different years.  I think the  '70-'71s have a hook that grabs under the bumper whereas the '72-'74s? have a "finger" that goes into a slot in the bumper.  The one pictured is from my '72.  It may not be a Challenger specific jack so you might want to investigate if another car's jack can be used, but I'm not sure about this.

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

There is also a peice of jute that goes in between the cardboard and your seatback.  It's made out of the same stuff like the package tray and the package tray jute.

I was going to order a new divider for my back seat because they were not very much $$. But the over-size shipping was killer. So I went to Home Depot and found a 2x4 piece of 1/4in. fiber board. Cut it to fit then painted it flat black and put that in place. Looks just like original.

sounds like a good idea there, and instead of useing the JUTE as the extra padding thingy, can you use a dynamat like thing to insulate?

I don't see why not. I think the jute thingie was a waste of my money anyway. It's pretty much just fiberglass insulation.

I don't know about that. I never really noticed any insulation for up there. Afterall, if you have speakers up there, they would get in the way. Same if you had a rear window defroster. I guess you could rig something up though.

Lemur, it's up there on the package tray too.  Holes are cut out for the defroster and the speakers.  Here's a pic..
