     My Black Gibson Flying "V" just looked over at me and said yea he's good but I didn't hear any distorted power cords..... I'll have to explain it to my guitar later that this is way beyond that when he's not so cranky LOL
     Too funny though, I used to get mail order lessons from the author of that video "Doug Marks" like 20 years ago, and I still can't play like that! That's it, I want my money back!!!! LOL

    Cool video, I love that type of progressive metal. Joe Satriani, Steve Via, Vinnie Moore play simular. I would have to say as a guitar player myself that Eddie Van Halen is the best at what he does. Eddie is fast and has incredible phrasing, and his tapping has yet to be matched.

    I think I'm on my 30th guitar or so by now. I keep buying them only to discover that they don't have ALL of the notes on them.  lol  Obviously he found one that has em all. I'll hang on to my old G&L for a while I guess, but it doesn't have them all either.  Till then..I'll keep looking.................Oldschool

      Several years back i was able to finally see Deep Purple in Atlanta. Steve Morse (Dixie Dreggs) was the lead guitarist at the time and did some freestyle riffwork like that during the show. Also Stevie Ray Vaughan a few times. And i can vouch for 4C's abilities. As for myselfI can play a mean air-guitar...
