I've just noticed that the Challenger (Orange one) has an incorrect grille.
It's annoying when they use non-correct cars in books like that because some including myself try to use these for info and correctness.
Just curious, what's incorrect about the grille? And was that hood black out available only for '71 or could you get it in '70 also?
Definately agree with you on that one!
But it's hard in this day and age to find prime examples of factory original cars, and also there were variations from the factory/dealer itself. Left over parts, use what you have sort of thing, dealer installed items. My '72 Rallye has a dash from a '71 and its from the factory that way as it was made 8/71, an early '72. But if they used my car for reference for a book, it would look incorrect even though it's from the factory. I got the book by, I think, Paul Herd and there were some inconsistences. It was a very interesting read.
It's tough to compile that much information and have all of it to be correct, although as a reference book one would want it to be perfect.
