Hey NZ---When you get Lucy on the road, How are you gonna break her in?  I got an idea. Put her on a ship and bring her to the States. Then you can drive her to all of the members houses and let em check her out!  What a great way to break her in?.........................Oldschool

lol!!! I wish! I wouldn't rest though while she is in a container I'd be worried sick!
I'd love, absolutely LOVE to drive her along the Vanishing Point route and also Route 66.

For reference, the color of is not Alpine, that was how I got it and IMO was a little too creamy, I wanted something more arctic, more bright. The shade is called: Bright White Chrysler code - PW7.

Cheers,
Carl

Sorry Carl... I should have stated it more clearly.  I knew Lucy was not Alpine White now, and there is a lot of difference in the two colors.  I think the bright white you chose is better on a Challenger or other normal sized car, but probably would not work as well on a behemoth like my 1968 Polara...

BTW, what were the other white cars that you owned?

Here is a picture (bottom picture) taken in the 1970s of my original Mopar which I still own (needs a restoration now), and the look-a-like I bought about 4 years ago (top picture).

Now there's a great idea!  Set something up for the summer of 2007.  The 1st annual, C-C.Com  Route 66 "Vanishing Point" Drive.  Invite all C-C. Com members to get together and make that run. I said 2007 in order to let Rev or someone with organizational skills plan this whole thing out. ( Of course we would help!) Would a year and a half give you enough time to prepare?  Sounds like a a great plan. We just don't want to end up like Barry Newman and his white Chally in the end. NO BULLDOZIERS!!................Oldschool

Thanks for the comments.
I knew you did know but I thought I may as well post exactly what the color is.

I've owned (don't laugh) two Subaru RSK-B4's one wagon and one sedan. 2L Turbo's. Both sold to make room for V8's.
Don't have any photos but my GTB wagon was exactly like the one below. It was purchased for surfing and extreme type sports.
Fantastic car, no mods just a good crusier with some decent get up and go, but, the turbo lag got to me in the end. lol

LOL!!! No, I would never travel anywhere with Lucy over seas, to much to risk. If anything I would higer a car, as long as I get to drive some of those great roads you have up there. You guys don't know how lucky you are to have hours and hours of endless driving.

Thanks for the concern and excitment though!! lol

Cheers,
Carl

Andrew - Nope, Dad had the RSK-B4 first I had the wagon. I sold the Subaru for the Falcon (AU).
I got Dads for about a month because the wagon lacked performance handling that I wanted.
They (Mum and Dad) traded up to the BA and both Subaru's were gone.

Did find a photo of my Subaru....

But did you have them parked beside each other at one time?

That would have been kinda funny.

NZ the Challenger looks great. I can really relate to your car as my Cuda has been a long project, Like you I figure it is all worth it when everyone get's to take a look. I have yet to finish getting my interior in and I'm waiting on the interior front and rear panels as my originals were just not good enough to put back in after all the work I went through restoring it. Good luck getting it done and have fun breaking it in as I know I will with mine.
