    Hello all Im the New guy getting ready to go get my first Challenger 1970 RT/SE U code auto sublime green needs a full resto but its the first keepable one.  Should have her home in 3 weeks.

    Welcome aboard!.. Congratulations on your purchase.  This will be the longest 3 weeks.......................but it will get here. You have found a great site with friendly, helpful folks. Hang out here for 3 weeks, we'll at least keep you entertained while ya wait.........Oldschool

    Ive already begun searcing for parts. The good part is it does come with lots of spare parts including sheet metal.   I just need to figure out how to afford the shaker

    It has a black and white interior the dash is green??? Thanks previos owner it has a black vynal top (destroyed)  But all the trim and such is there.   Looks alot like yours?   Gives me visions of the future.

    Is it an A/C car?  A lot of U Code automatic cars had that. Are you going to restore it as stock or modify it? #'s? You started out with a desirable one. Post some pictures when you get it. I am new to the site also and everybody is very helpful, as we all know that we have the ultimate American collector cars here.

    Sounds like a very nice car. If it's an S.E. it is bound to have A/C being the top of the line model.

    Nope No A/C, No sure Grip, I dont think it has any options other then the base items I do have a a/c set up from a 72 parts pile I 1/2 own.

    It is stripped as far as I can tell I think it was a highway car I wish it had A/c it does have the 26 inch core support and the 959 radiator. that I will be selling the help fund the restoration Ill let one of those goofy big dollar guys have it. Mines not numbers matching anyways.

    I think maybe you would need another dash to convert to A/C for the vents, so you might not want to do it. It is unusual that a U Code automatic high end car like that doesn't, but what the heck- less stuff to break. Does the car have a fender tag?

    Yes it has one but the car was paintyed with house paint, so its unreadable,   I have a spare a/c dash so its up in the air right now I want to do a fuel injected 6 pack to it (hes a buddy)  so the a/c might have to wait.
