Guns
« on: November 19, 2005 - 03:17:23 PM »
Okay, so I've decided its finally time to get something to carry around on me. I don't know a lot about guns. I'm looking for something affordable and something I can carry around on me for my safety and protection. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Ruger 41 magnum blackhawk.
Shoots like a 357, hits like a 44.

First I got a Heckler & Koch .40 USP     Then I bought a cannon cause if you need to use it there's no such thing as too big or the
recipient being too dead

Desert Eagle .44 Magnum    made by the Isreali army for their commandos.  NASTY
Why are the only other cars on the road all in my rear view mirror?  Oh yeah cause I got a 440/6 pack

Thank you GOD for the "Go Fast Division"

A used 41 is about 250-350, and well worth it. I like Ruger's, and Smith n Wesson. The K79 I think) 41 mag has not been made for a long time though, they still make a 41 Ruger.
The reason I say 41 mag, is it has a higher velocity than a 44, and not much less bullet. It shoots real nice, compared to the 44.

dodgetkboy78, thanks for the reply and information on the cost. I'm expecting to pay about $250-$500 for a gun. HEMI HUNTER thanks as well as your guns will be added to my list and thank you for the pictures.

That's what I've heard for the majority. But, someone was saying parts of them were plastic. Any truth to this?

Yes . Most of the Glocks have synthetic materials. But these materials are designed to withstand extreme temps and conditions.

Yes.  But in the case of the Glock, plastic does not equate with cheap.  They are an extreme duty firearm.
