Try this link: "http://www.up22.com/barracuda.htm#BARRACUDA%2067-69" While it's not quite an elastomeric ,  you can paint it to look similar to one.

Kilrcuda:  although rcerex suggested the bumper from Unlimited Fiberglass, they state on their web page that the bumber is not the elastomeric style.  But I found that AAR Quality Fiberglass Reproductions has a bumper (they do not state if it's front or rear) listed under part # 2053 for $95.00 that is listed as "Cuda Elastimeric [sic] Bumper 70".  Their phone number is 321-638-0961, address is 4800 Pine Street, Cocoa, FL 32926, their e-mail is aarqfr@aol.com, and their web address is www.aarqualityfiberglass.com.  I'm going to contact them in the next day or two for the very same item; if it's a front bumper, I'm going to take a chance and order one for my '71 'cuda convertible (I think the '70's and '71's will interchange???)

That is not a bad Idea rcerex! ketchup thanks for the site I am going to check it out now, and as far as i know 70 and 71 front bumpers are interchangeable. There might be a differnece in the jack holes for the bumper jack but that is no biggey.

Thanks!!!! ;D

Hey rcerex and Kilrcuda (and anybody else):

I finally received a reply back from AAR Quality Fiberglass on the Elastomeric bumper # 2053.  They e-mailed me this mornining (12/04) saying this: "You would receive a 10% discount.  When calling to order just make sure to tell the receptionist that Robyn OK'd the discount.  Thanks! AAR"

They did not confirm whether or not it is a front or rear bumper, so I e-mailed them back at about noon (EST) to re-inquire.  When they get back to me, I'll let you know.  If it's for the front bumper, let me know who is up for placing an order on the same day so we get the 10% discount.

I called AAR today to see if the studs are expoxied into the bumper to mount on the stock brackets and the lady told me that it is mounted and that it is the front. She quoted me a price of $105,  so I don't know if they're trying to pull a fast one offering us 10% off which would be the old web price of $95 anyway. I think if we point out that the web says $95 and give the false advertising statement they should comply. Anyway, I do think we should order all at once before we ask for the 10% off the $95. When do you guys want to go in on the bumper? After Xmas would work OK for me but I probably can scrape some cash earlier if necessary.

Hey guys great leg work on the bumper!!! But I definitley will have to buy this after christmas, I blew the rear u joint out of my car along with the pinion yoke and driveshaeft yoke and of course killing the flowmasters. ooooopss ::) so I will be getting these things first then the bumper. As for price I was at englishtown this summer for the mopar nationals and a guy had repo elastomeric bumpers and he wanted $1200 each so $95 is great! ;D

Kilrcuda & rcerex:

If you want to order the bumpers after the holidays, that's cool with me.  By the way, when I inquired about the bumpers to AAR Quality Fiberglass on 11/26/02 via e-mail, I specifically gave them the model # 2053 and the price of $95.00, so there should be no B.S. about $105.00 (I just double checked my "sent" mail items to make sure).

So we'll get back in touch after December and place the order on the same day.  Talk to you later.

Well, I hear the reproductions with your core are now around $650 and will post some info on my original post looking for some one to repair my original.  You had a lot better luck on this post than I did on mine with no replies.

There's a carbon fiber one on Ebay right now. It's auction # 1876079234.
