New HEMI power tool line?
« on: November 20, 2005 - 07:07:26 AM »
It looks like Dodge has now entered the power tool market. I saw this on the hardware roadshow yesterday. This will test the value-add of name-branding as well as the products themselves. Could, HUMMER power tools be next?  I can see this as the perfect Christmas gift for many Hemi owners out there. Their wives will see this and rush out and buy the complete line.

Probably won't be too long before we start seeing folks talking about what they have done to update there Hemi tools.  "I got a stroker magnet in my drill, and my saw is now rated at 1600 amps when supplied by 440 volts boost"  lol  Also, could there be a new market for Hemi tool clones.  "Yeah, it's really a Makita, but I got all Hemi parts put in it". Lotsa potential for this tool line...................Oldschool

lol. That thing gotta a HEMI? Yeah I can see it now as well. I updated the motor from put an coil winding from a 6.1 amp motor and it works on my 5.7 amp motor. I boosted my power but, 10 volts and I'm also running a plasma booster. My drill does the 1/4 of the screw in 1.1 seconds at 3 mph lol.

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.
