    My name is Rudy, I'm 32, and have a few Cudas...!!! (from Indiana/Chicago)

    I am currently doing a full rotissorie restoration on my B5 blue 1970 AAR Cuda, 340 6-pack 4-speed all numbers matching with bright blue interior. Most of the major work is done, it now has new NOS OEM full quarters, and a NOS OEM full trunk pan!! (all I can say after buying those is OUCH!!!!) It is just about ready to go in for paint soon, most of it is in primer now.

    I also have a 1971 barracuda convertible, 383ci, 2bbl engine, automatic, Tor Red, with black interior all numbers matching (NOT FOR SALE) I just purchased this car from the original owners! It was an incredible find, and in great original condition!! I may restore it to original, or do the obvious hemi clone...

    Last but not least, is my 1973 Cuda, 340ci, automatic....FE5 Rallye Red, with white interior, white vinyl top, and white stripes! This is also a one owner car, very solid, all completly original, but in need of interior and paint...its a real cool color combo, I am starting a minor resto shortly on it.

    I decided it was time to join, because I am seeking help on questions, etc on my cars....

    Welcome to the board Rudy!!  You have an amazing (and extremely desireable) group of cars there...you'll fit in just fine here!  I couldn't believe that before pic of your AAR.  I know pictures can't show all the rough spots, but man, she looks pretty good sitting there.  It looks like a top notch resto!  Thanks for all the pics...we love them around here. 

    You can ask any questions you might have down in the "Tech Sections".   Chryco Psycho is our tech guru down there, but we have a ton of knowledgeable folks on the board who could probably answer your questions quickly if Chryco's not around.

    Thanks!! yeah, the AAR looked real nice before the resto began...my friends thought I was out of my mind for tearing her apart! but it needed it, its a special car, and when you got up on it, it just was'nt nice enough for my taste....it will be top notch soon!

    Welcome to the site!  Nice group of cars there!  how do you decide whice to drive...   is that cut in blue paint in the truck the final color?  is looks reallly sharp !

    My 2 cents, is leave the Ragtop a 383 car.  There are too many HEMI clones out there.  Change the 2bbl to a 4, intake, dual exhaust, etc, and you're good to go.

    yes, that blue paint in the trunk is some B5 sprayed in, we painted everything underneath the NOS quarters before they were welded onto the car.....

    I did email Galen regarding my convertible, weather or not I should leave it be or clone it...its so original I kind of want to leave it the 383, it still has factory marks on the valve covers etc... ANYWAY I emailed him questions on all three cars, PAID him $100.00...this was on October 5th...now they will not answer any of my emails!!! Is this standard procedure for the expert??? 

    Thanks for all the great compliments on the cars! I was lucky to get the 71 just before fall, so I was able to drive it for awhile, since my AAR has been taken apart. I dont drive the 73, its looks too rough right now....

    Not to put Galen down, but his service is a little slow.  He gets a lot of request.  I submitted mine in February and didn't receive it until late October.  Be patient, you'll like what you get from Galen.

    You could pay me for some gas and I could pay Govier a visit, since he's only a couple minutes off the route I take to get to college...(lol)

    I guess it takes Galen a long time to answer people....if it takes several months, I'll most likely be back on the road before I get the answers...!! lol.

    thats why I joined here too, I figure all of you can help...

    The cart my car is on belongs to my friends, its in their body shop... they have tons of nice equipment...I'f I built the cart myself, it would have collapsed by now...ha!

    Welcome to the board.  What part of Chicago area?  Was up there for a few years teaching.  I was in Chicago Heights area.

    Cars look great.  Can't wait to get mine on the road.  Did some work on it today.  But not near what I would like to do to it.
