Converting taillights to '71 ?

Is this often done? do you need the whole panel?

Err forgot i meant a '72 Cuda to '71 spec.....

Yeah you would need the whole panel to go from a 72 to a 71 tail light. If you cut the welds you can weld the other panel in directly since the panel openings are identical.
1971 Cuda 340, auto.

Anyone know if there is a company making replacement tail panels?  Gm and ford seem to have a lot of help in the sheetmetal department.
