    Home for a 'cuda

    We see a lot of cuda/challenger pics.  How about the homes we keep them in?  Anyone done anything special at their house to dress up their garage.

    I'm working on mine.  Painted the floor partially checkerboard and I am currently working on a mural on the far wall behind the car.  Also have a few posters up.

    Very nice, sbird!  Love the floor!  Sorry, Can't do the driveway like that!  That's my car's home for now.

    Question:  Are those bullet holes on the rear quarter up on the wall?  Any interesting story with that?

    Nothing special for mine at the moment.  Hope to do that some day for mine.  It should have a special place to live.  It does have a special place in my heart anyway.

    No.  Not bullet holes.  When we took the car down to metal we began blasting this quarter and found an amazing amount of bondo.  Incredibly thick!  That body man was an artist with this material.

    I had planned on salvaging the panel..but after that i just replaced it with a Goodmark panel.  Still, I found the old one so amazing I hung it on the wall.

    Only place on the car like that!

    This is an old photo, the house has come a long way since this was taken. The T/A lives on the first floor.

    The round tower is where he sends his kids when they misbehave.  He makes them go in there and sit in the corner!!   LOL.......Oldschool

    I finished all the walls and painted them gloss white. Then prepped and painted my garage floor with Sherwin Williams Armor-Clad gloss white. I bought the generic Euro-hinge white cabinets from Home Depot and mounted them on the wall. I wanted it to look like an operating room. I'm a little embarassed to snap pics of it at the moment as the Cuda project consumes most of it with junk EVERYWHERE! Here is a pic taken before I got the car

    Well as you can see it aint clean.I have plans to do the walls and floor,But theres always a car in there to be worked on.
    Besides a little mait on the Cuda and Duster.I had a 78 malibu wagon J/Stock automatic in there.That car went back to Illinois.
    Right now a friends 73 454 nova is in there.Oh,dont worry the Cuda and Duster dont stay outside.They are warm and cozy up at the house!

    Yes, that was an AMI Continental I model. The Continental II you may remember from the movie "Ghost". Was virtually the same model only it had red and chrome trim where the Conti 1 had teal, chrome and anodized gold trim. I finished that box last year and it looked better than new. Ck it out:
