I'd take one right away also. But I'd prefer a cuda. Hopefully they'll find a way to market them.

I can see the commercials now... remakes of the famous Challenger R/T commercials with the Dodge Sheriff...

..."operating a racing type vehicle on city streets"... Yah inna heapa trouble...

Picture this...an older hippie couple listening to Classic Rock, blown away by some 20 somethings in a 2006 Hemi Challenger. Then they complain about these kids and their new cars. lol

Now this is what I'm talking about!!!! This thing is sweet!!
Could it be that Mopar finally got there head out of there.....well ...you know...
But I agree, give it a go-wing, and the pop out gas cap, and maybe the 71 R/T side stripes, but instead of R/T have it say HEMI, That would scare every Mustang driver back into there garage for good! LOL
I'm going to an auto show this weekend so hopefully there will be one there so I can get some pics.

Im a bit skeptical about those pictures, because normally they put armour/padding on prototype vechiles when they take them out in public so rival carmakers dont see them.

That would be a great car to have.  The only thing I don't like about the car is the tail lights.  They look too much like a Pontiac TransAm.  Other than that I like the car.  Like someone else said you would think they would put panels on the car so you could not see all of it.

Great article, xs.  Again, thanks for the posts!

True, they do look sort of Trans Amish but they look sort of like the '66 Charger lights, how they go across the full width of the car and say "Dodge" in the middle.

Very true and good point Andrew and Pink Ice, usually these concepts have all the cover up stuff on them.

But if DC is really going to have a Challenger concept at the Detroit Auto Show in January, if this isn't it I don't know what this is.  I don't think this is the new Neon replacement, LOL!

I worked out why it didnt have the padding on it.
If you look at the photo, you will see a large light on a stand, like the ones they use for photography.

DC was taking photos of their marvelous new creation.

Now THAT is something from DCX that I would buy! Hopefully, the production version comes close to that, and it's not another bait & switch like the '99 Charger concept was.
'66 Hemi Charger
'67 Coronet R/T ragtop
'03 Hemi Ram 2500 QC 4x4

Where do you sign up?  I will order one as soon as the supply catches up with demand and price stabilizes.  I may have killed 2 birds with one stone. If I get a new Chally, I will hold off on painting the '69 beast until I see what color the new one is. Then I will paint the 69 to match.  How about that--Hemi cars, 38 years apart, that look like twins....LOL.............Oldschool
