Comments: Jim and Pam purchased this car while it was still on the trailer of a salvage dealer. The entire car was taken to bare metal and all repairs were made before the beautiful white satin with fine blue pearl and clearcoat paint was applied. So, there she now sits in her "renewed glory" as "whitesatinmopar". Some of the changes/upgrades include a built 360 pursuit engine, bored .030 over with a .450 purple shaft cam and a 600 cfm Carter carb. The car has the original interior except for the carpet and upholstery. A beautiful car owned by one of the nicest guys on the board!

Comments: This 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, was orignally a 318, now it has a stout 340, 727 Torqueflight and a 8-3/4 rearend. From the day his car arrived in Norway from Seattle, jvike planned to clone it into an AAR. He has updated the suspension with poly bushings, Hemi torsion bars, KYBs and new balljoints. The engine was inspected and painted Hemi orange. He installed a complete TTI 2,5" x-pipe exhaust system with ceramic coated/heatbarrier headers and Flowmaster 40 Deltaflow mufflers. The trans got a TCI shiftkit. He also added an aluminum Griffin radiator and subframe connectors. The car was sprayed in Nissan Apple Pearl green and flat black. An absolutely beautiful car and and great CC.com member!

Comments: This 1970 Challenger convertible, originally a 318, Plum Crazy, California car, is still wearing all original sheetmetal. Bought in March 2004 already partially cloned as a 1970 440-SixPack R/T convertible with SlapStik, 70RTDropTop finished up the job as close to factory specs as he could. He tore out the smog 440 that came with the car, installed a balanced and blueprinted 1967 hi-nickel content 440 and SixPack cam. Replaced the rear-end with the correct 489 case and 3.55 SureGrip, plus lots of miscellaneous odds and ends. No wonder this car gets a lot of attention while cruising!

Comments: The Beast!! This car is a bona-fide low 10 second street car that is street driven several times a month. It was professionally built by a Hemi car expert, with superb engineering and no expense spared. If you ever get a chance to go for a ride with Old's School... jump on it! Awesome, fast car... and a really great guy!

Comments:1973 BS23G ‘Cuda with a 360 in it. I purchased it from Bill (inot2old) on this site back in October and have had nothing but fun with it since. It’s my first Cuda and I’m loving it to death. I rebuilt the transmission back in December with the help of TacTransMan on this board and that was the first one I ever did! Now I have a 1973 440 for it that is currently being built. I hope someday to have a 4 or 5-speed in it as well.

Comments: The August Car of the Month has been reserved for some time now to celebrate Cuda-Challenger.com's ultimate achievement in raising funds, purchasing and restoring this 1973 Barracuda for The Cuda Guy. The Cuda Guy has been a member here since the beginning and yet, has never owned one of these fine cars. The Cuda Guy will be returning to Iraq for his 3rd tour of duty in September. This car was given, with great love and effort, as a special thank you to all of our Military members and their families for their service and sacrifice for our freedoms. Thank you to all of our members who participated in this adventure. Cuda Guy...enjoy!!

Comments: The September Car of the Month is StRoKEr's 1972 Challenger. She started out in life with a 318, but has been nicely restored with a Ray Barton 500 CID Stroker motor! The 650+ HP is backed by a 727 with 3200 stall and a Cheetah Manual valve body. The car has taking 3 1/2 years giving credit to all the members on cc.com who helped along the process! She is one beautiful car!

Comments: My car is a 1971 Gran Coupe with a 383 and 727. My Dad rebuilt the engine for me and showed me how to rebuild the 727. I have headers, electronic ignition, edelbrock aluminum manifold, and a BG Mighty Demon Carb. I also just put in 3.91s with a suregrip in the back. The car has recently been repainted and upholstered inside. The car had a/c in it but the entire heater/ac box and lines are pulled out. I'm going to put a new ac system in and I also want to do a 4speed swap. There are still a bunch of little trim and electrical issues I need to work out but overall I love the car.

Comments: This member purchased the `Cuda from the second owner on July 14, 1981 for the amazing price of $500… no kidding! The ‘Cuda’s option mix is a bit unusual, having come from the factory with a 440 6BBL w/Automatic, 4.10 Dana 60, Shaker hood, front Elastomeric bumper, and column shift! The only changes made during the restoration in 1984 was using a Hockey Stick stripe in place of the original body side molding & 15 inch Rallye wheels in place of the original 14 inch Road Wheels (Magnum 500 style). This is one beautiful car!!
