Finally, I have a six pack '70 Charger R/T !!!!
« on: November 22, 2005 - 06:31:34 PM »
Well, as many of you have been following, I finally found an original '70 v-code six pack Charger R/T.. It's EW1 just like my old one that I've been trying to replace AND built on the same day, July 10th, 1970, last day of production.... This one ends with sequence #334 whereas my old one ended in ###067... So who knows, the last one built?...

Anyways, the trip was very tiring to say the least but I had a GREAT time and the transactions between myself and the buyer of my v-code 'Cuda and that of Bob, the seller of the Charger, went well.. Met some really nice and cool people.. It'll be a trip to always remember.. I'll go ahead and post some pics here now........

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Looks like a nice project there, real potential and, of course, a nice tire.

You did tell the person you sold the 440-6 Cuda to about C-C.C, right?

Nope, it's an original EW1 Alpine White car, just like my former one back in the 80's, hence my joy in the find....  The plum color was from the plum crazy '70 Charger R/T the gent I bought mine had as well........

Thanks Troy and yes B5 that's the color my wife wanted.
Everytime I see a car like yours all I can see is the potential in the car and how great it would be to drive.

Nice car. Been thinking of trading my Challenger for a 68-70 Charger just because I wouldn't mind having something different and I don't know. Just something about a Charger. I grew up riding in my dads 72 Rallye Charger with a 400 4v and it was a good car. He still has it by the way. Anyways.
