    Thanks kudakidd,You illustrated my point! In the pic with the 18,s--You see how the wheels demand your eyes attention? Not the almost perfect lines and design of the car--THE CAR!
    Yeah I'm old school. I know that the huge wheels are sort of a status for young people now.Its like "see how big they are and you know what they cost just try and steal em---PLAYA!
    I mean they look really good I guess on a Civic or a Caddilac.

    I'd have to agree with the statement about 20"s and 22"s on any E-body looks too gaudy and not very tasteful given the car's unique appearance cues.  However, I think 17"s look good, give you the opportunity to take advantage of the newest tire technology, and they can be bought to resemble the same wheels that make these cars look great.  I had bought some stock 14"s back when I had the Charger, but I've decided to not go with them and keep my eyes on some 17"s. :money: :cooldancing: :grinyes:

    I'll agree with you Mark. I know they had 14's and 15's back then, but if you go beyond 17 on these cars, it just takes something away from the car. I'm not big into that 20 or 22 inch stuff some guys are trying to fit under their cars. More power to them if that's what they want, but it's not for me.

    Yes, a prime example of over doing the Bling scene on a 'Cuda would have to be this one....Don't get me wrong, I love the power plant and some of the interior pieces, but the rest I could do without.

    I could do without the shaved side markers that now have those little Euro lights instead, the Chroma paint job belongs on a low rider Impala or one of those cheesy show cars, and the V-10 should be making its exhaust notes with some 'Cuda-styled exhaust tips that fit in the valance panel, not just regular pipes.  The wheels can always be switched, but the rest would be harder to change back. :dunno:


    As for the show itself, Carlisle '04 was amazing!  (didn't know if that's what you were meaning with that.)

    That Dupont chromalusion paint is awesome. I tend to see the same 3 basic colors though. It is usually very obviously color shifting paint too. I'd like to see somebody do something more subtle. Maybe have some hilights over a black base coat instead?

    Haha, gotcha.  You mean you didn't like to see her all over him the entire day? lol  I even went to take a picture of the car and look who found her way into it.  :rofl: :icon16:

    Two beers, too.  I remember him trying to pull it out of the lot after the long day's worth of hitting up the suds a little, too. :crazy: :drunk:
