New hemicuda home!
« on: November 23, 2005 - 02:40:40 PM »
Picked up the new car today.....she'll be ready for the spring. This car is STRAIGHT.

Orig 383 4 speed, now 69 426 hemi, keisler 5 speed with 4.10 Dana 60.

Big decision for me....15 inch rallyes with white letter T/A radials or weld wheels with black walls?

I'd do the stock look with the rallye wheels. Make it look like it came from Chrysler, and with the hood closed it's a total sleeper. But then you know from my car that I prefer that look on a black Hemicuda!!!

By the way, a really cool thing you can do is put a BLACK (not red or white) hockey stick stripe on the car. Most real black cars were stripe delete, but Ted Stephens of Stephens Performace in Alabama has a real black 6-pack car with a black stripe and it looks really outstanding. It was in a Mopar Muscle mag a while back.

VERY SWEET RIDE Hemi71 but now you will have to change your name to HEMI 70..
I saw a 70 Triple Black T/A at the Hilton Head Show and it also had a Black Stripe and it looked GOOOOOD!!

Wonder what it would look like with 17" billet 500's? Been thinking about putting them on my '70 chal convert hemi clone just to be different. My 71 cuda has stock rallys and my 73 has the hopsters. Getting tired of seeing the same old thing.
BTW, I love your '70.

that`s an awesome cuda you picked up. I`d either go with the rallyes or some nice 17`s.

Hey Hemi71, love the car. I'd go with the 15" Ralley rims and I love the black stripes on the black car...thats my 2 cents.

Hemi71 your Cuda looks great. I would put the rallye wheel's on. I have them on my Cuda and Challenger and they look great. I can't wait to get the center caps and trim rings on mine but the restoration is not complete and I still have a extra set of wheels and tires on the front as I have not had the front end aligned yet.

How do you feel about black cop rims w/out dog dishes?
