When I got the car from Matt Delany back in '99, it had the old Gen6.  I updated to the newest version of gen7.   I did introduce a 1250 cfm in place of the 1000 cfm Matt had been running.

EFI is the way to go.  Turn key once it is dialed in.  If you drive from sea level to 7,000 feet in altitude, go from 20 below to 110 degrees, no humidty to 100%, it does not matter.  No further tuning of carbs, no guess work, no running rough.  When it's dialed it's dialed.  Runs better, gets better fuel economy (mpg), and is just plain sexy!
