How hard would this be to be repaired?
« on: November 24, 2005 - 11:41:37 PM »
Well I was wondering how hard it would be to replace cause its on the top of rocker panels? I would think I'd have to have somebody real body man do that but the floor pans and where the battery sits should be easy.

I've hand made them in the past, but in recent yrs I've been saving sections out of parts cars to make the repair in this area.

It`s not that hard if you have some experience in fabricating and welding. You will either need to hand make the pieces to fit or cut and splice from a donor vehicle.Lots of measuring before and during the process to make sure everything will fit right after it`s all welded.
