Battery Question
« on: November 28, 2005 - 06:56:23 PM »
Hey does anybody know where to get the new group 27 batteries with the red top but are really sealed up.
I thought New Castle Battery in PA sold them but i checked today and they are out of business...
How much are they and do you like them ( if you have one)
I went to start the Challenger up yesterday (first time in 6 months) and she was dead as a doornail and the charger just wouldn't bring her back to life. It is 4 years old next week. I went to the local auto parts stores around here and NOBODY sell just a plain black battery anymore. They all have red tops or yellow tops--I did find one all black but it had both post on top ( you know the regular post and the new style screw type)
I guess that way one fits all..
