In honor of Beams, I mean Mark 12:30 return, I would like US to tell him all the fun and strange ways we have raised money for our rides. I know when I started out I was scrounging for every penny.
I was working two jobs just to pay the bills, and none of it was available for my love of CARS! Therefore, I had to make money in other ways:
1. I detailed cars on the weekend, made anywhere from $50 to $200 a car depending on what they wanted. Wash, wax, engine detail, carpet cleaning, ect
2. Worked on other peoples, cars, changing the oil, rotating the tires, brakes jobs, tune-ups, or whatever car repairs I felt comfortable doing. :undercar:
3. I had a friend, whose dad owned a “porta potty” business, and I worked Saturdays refurbishing them (one nasty job) but it paid $10 an-hour cash.
I hope these ideas help, not only Mark 12:30, but anyone else who needs to raise money for their cars.
You should set up a separate account for the extra monies, and you will be amazed how fast it grows.
