Last year, a person that I know was racing a late 90's Mustang GT with his new 04 GTO that he just bought. They were on a 2 lane highway early morning. The Mustang made some type of erratic manuver. They both touched sides and crashed into the cement divider going over 80 mph. My buddy rolled his new GTO 4 times until it came to a halt. They both got out unhurt and both of them immediatlely agreed that they were not racing when the cops finally show up. Well the cops showed up and immedialey started pressuring them that they "were racing." I'm sure the skid marks and debris strewn everywhere showed strong evidence of racing albet. He went to court over it and the street racing charges were dropped. his insurance company paid him off 100% on the accident. Same with the other guy too he thinks. Needless to say, he went out and bought another 05 GTO to replace the 04. He told me his wife was soooo pissed at him for his childish behavior. lol. I bet he slept on the couch for a week if not longer.
