That won't be easy.  :grinno: Check out E-Bay. A 70 AM/FM, or Am/8-track are big money. Theer was no cassete player, except for one that was mounted on the floor or console. To have that, you would need a AM/FM radio with some kind of compatible plug on the back. In any event, these are NOT cheap even in unknown condition. You see, 70 was the only year for the thumb wheels on E-Bodies.

It looks like you are looking for one of two radios.  If you know the fender tag code, I'd try and get what it calls for.

R22 is AM with Stereo 8-track and that's what I need (anybody have one or the knob that come through the dash piece?)
R36 is AM/FM with Stereo with cassette
R37 is AM/FM with Stereo 8-track

I have a couple different pictures of R22 and I think the one in the car is right but if it is, I wonder if they could come with our without that big toggle or not.  If anybody has a definitative answer, I'd be interested.  Note that both of these have both thumb wheels on the left and that looks to be one of the big differences I've seen.

Someone got creative there. There most definitely is not supposed to be a toggle switch on the front of the radio. I wonder what that's for???  :dunno:
