I'd like to thank who ever it was that had a post about Nuvo plastic polishing. After reading that persons post about how well it worked I ordered a kit from Year One. And let me just say that it worked fantastically. My rear tail light lenses were scratched and had a very heavy overspray of black paint where someone had neglected to tape off the entire lense assembly during a repaint. I had to use some 400 grit to remove the paint from the plastic and you can imagine how that left the finish. I followed the instructions to the letter and an hour later I had a lense that had that nice factory finish to it. How this would work on deep scratches I don't know because my lenses were in what I would call good shape to begin with, just those typical surface scarring that several hundred wash jobs leave behind. So, now I'm thinking 'why stop with the lenses'. How would this stuff work on glass or other plastic pieces such as meter covers...
