hard to do, but

Wouldn't it be cool if CCC had a weekend somewhere where all the members could go and have a show and maybe a barb-que where we could meet each other and hang out.  I know alot of you balready try and do this at various shows throughout the year, and it would be hard to organize, but wouldn't it be so much fun.

Our one time a year to get together is Carlisle (7/7-9/2006).  Sure we get together locally with the folks in our areas, but Carlisle is where anyone who can make it from CC.com from around the country (hopefully the world...NZ) comes to meet.  Last year we had a really good size group and had a great time.  We ate every meal together, drove everywhere together and sat outside in the parking lot in our lawn chairs till the wee hours of the morning.  If it's a possibility to come, start planning now.  We have a block of rooms already scheduled and almost half of them are already taken.  All the information is listed in this forum http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=14257.0

Here's a pic of our cars parked next to each other.  In the background you'll see a big red and white tent...that was our club tent...our oasis in the heat. We had a great time...so if you can make it, please come!!

I'm trying my hardest to be able to make it out.  I would really not want to make the drive alone, though.  I get lost pretty easy... :-[

Are there any members west of Nebraska who are driving out?  Maybe along I-80?

Ghost, it really isn't a hard drive at all.  If you can find the Pa. turnpike, you are good to go. Carlisle is right off one exit, and our Hotel is not far of another.

Another thing will be the money.  It'll take me 2 LONG days of driving, or 3 easier days.  Which means I'd need to get hotel rooms.  Plus gas isn't cheap....  Trip total could cost me several hundred dollars....
