Got an Email from Car Magazine Editor
« on: December 01, 2005 - 02:34:44 PM »

I received an email from one of New Zealands biggest car magazines this morning. Classic Car Magazine.
Quite a surpirse and I was honered.  :swaying:

The email read:

Carl,

I’ve just been wandering through your website looking at the restoration of your Challenger – great looking car, and what looks to be a top resto. Just wondered if you’d be interested in the magazine doing an article on the car at some stage? We often visit Wellington with our photographers and I’m sure our readers would love to have a close look at your car.

Yours,
Allan Walton

Editor
NZ Classic Car Magazine

Here is the link to their site: http://www.classic-car.co.nz/ and I've attached a photo of one issue to give you an idea of the cover etc...

My reply:

Hello Allan,

Thanks for your kind words. It really has been a long haul, longer than expected as she only went in for a engine tune. lol
2-1/2 years later and she's  less than 3 weeks away from being finished.

I was going to approach you and NZV8 magazine once completed as I would like to share Lucy with New Zealand MoPar and muscle car fans.
I would really like her to sit where she belongs, that's why I would prefer cover page. (Black background and white car would set it off)

The photos on the site do absolutely nothing for the car, in person she is 100x better, definitely.
I thank you once again for taking the time to write and I look forward to working with you and your crew in the near future.

Well, that's all. Was a great start to the day! lol  :jumping: :bananasmi

Cheers,
Carl

Congratulations NZ!!!  That's really cool that he's asked you to put your Challenger into the magazine.  Usually it's the other way around, but he must really love the top notch restoration that's being done to it.
