Retire Cuda name for good?

I sorta feel that there can never really be another Cuda without Plymouth in front of it.
Dodge Cuda sounds sot of wannabe and lame.
Go with a Dodge Challenger name, but lay the Cuda to rest.
That being said, if they do make a Doge Cuda I will be first in line to buy one!

You're right, especially if it's attached to a car as bad as the new Charger. However, I am open to the concept of having a new Jeep Cuda! :roflsmiley:

Depends, they are many other variations and I figure this poll will be well lopsided because there are only two options.

'Cuda by Chrysler sounds cool.  :swaying:
1970 Dodge Challenger R/T
White, License Plate, 0A-5599
540ci Aluminium Hemi, F.A.S.T EFI

I agree.  Only 2 options in the poll.  Could you modify the poll and add Chrysler Cuda?  :droolingbounce: ..............Oldschool

Well, they could always bring back the Plymouth name and introduce it with a new retro styled Cuda!  Now that for me would be the oly option IMO.

Dodge 'Cuda is a bit hard to take... probably would still buy the car if it looked good!

Chrysler 'Cuda sounds OK... but not great.

'Cuda by Chrysler sounds better...!

Plymouth 'Cuda by Chrysler sounds pretty good also!  (Note: Plymouth would be part of the name, but not reborn...)

Plymouth actually being brought back as a brand is soooo unlikely I haven't even thought much about it...

I think Cuda by Chrysler sounds ok but when exactly did the Plymouth name die?  I have been out of cars for years and never realized it was no longer.  Ed

In 2002, they rolled the last Plymouth, a Neon, off the assembly line.

I asked a Dodge guy at SEMA about that and he replyed " No plans but you never know, Dodge Cuda is like making a Mercury Mustang...it just isn't right, besides the Charger and Challengers wher more popular."    I hope they let it rest.  I use to like GTO's.                    Vin

A Dodge guy at SEMA says the Cuda wasn't that popular? HELLO??!! It just goes to show that the current crop of Dodge corporate types have no clue or ties to the historic past of the marque. It's kinda not surprising though, given what the '99 concept Charger morphed into for production. That being said, the Cuda name should rest in the graveyard alongside its parent, Plymouth. If Plymouth no longer exists, the Cuda shouldn't either. Just my  :2cents:

I think I would prefer Cuda by Chrysler if they are not going to bring back the Plymouth name. This is just my 2 cents.

A Cuda by any other name will never be a Cuda in my book!
I think we should all take in a moment of silent reverie for our fallen namesake,
May she rest in peace , and those that survive , May you live long lives and always shine , no matter what the world throws at you ,
Always remember " WE WERE HERE FIRST , WE WILL BE HERE WHEN IT ENDS !"
Can I get an " AMEN?"
" the question isn't  when is he going to stop, but whose gonna stop him!"
