    Photos look good the first one being the best.
    The rear panel shot is also good excpet for the truck in the background and the mix of grass and road.

    No, its not the car from the series, but it is a column shift automatic.  Those pictures were taken at the spur of the moment on the way to a cruise... I noticed the flags flying briskly at the local Fire Station... so I stopped to take the pictures.  I am now selecting prime locations for future photo shoots.  For risky locations I will bring along a friend or two to prevent a problem like getting run over!  Thanks for the feedback!

    I think it'd be cool to use Photoshop and superimpose the car into a picture taken at Woodstock or something like that.

    Yeah Photoshop or Paintshop Pro or whatever.   Like I was thinking if MEKrunner, wanted to take Carlisle and go to some place EXOTIC --
    first he'd have to remove the background ....  (and April's car   :crying:  )     then, once thats done pick some place thats as flashy and neon as his cool paint job.... (but has some pink in it . . . )


    MEK -- hope you dont mind I picked on your car. . .

     Who did the photo chop on Mekrunners pic, that came out great!! Looks like I got another background pic LOL

    I mostly use paintshop pro.  Its easy if you have the feature I highlighted in the last pic.

    Photography 101 - Use a Polarizing Lens

    This little gizmo is VERY handy on a car photoshoot.
    Polarizing Filters can be used to increase color saturation, like darkening blue skies so that white clouds stand out. They can reduce or eliminate reflections from your car suface (paint, trim and glass.)  they help reduce softness in scenery caused by atmospheric haze.  They can reduce glare on car bumpers and to control reflections on plate-glass windows that might be in the background.   You can also rotate these lenses to change what wavelenth the camera will see.  Sometime this will be the only thing that brings out ghost stripes or flames...  or render you cars true color when in direct sunlight

    These are all good tips.

    One thing I look for is never to have a pole in the background.  Telephone pole.  Power pole, etc.  This is a key rule for photographing people, but a good tip for cars as well.

    Keep the background simple. 

    Tires straight.

     Move up to the car, or better yet if you have a zoom move the focus in to the car. 

    In some settings shoot with high speed and low apperature...sometimes you can soften the background by having it out of focus while the car stays in focus.

    Before you take the shot look for excessive reflections on the body or glass..

    What I would like to do is take a picture like this, for next years calendar.  The problem is finding a place with the right lighting....
