New guy?
« on: December 05, 2005 - 07:14:32 AM »
Well, to here I am.
I own a '74 Duster,/6 4 wheel power drums and steering and A/C. Semi daily driver.
A '79 Dodge Magnum that I did a 318 to 400 ('78, 400 P code engine) drive train swap. Mostly the daily driver.
AND the E body, (Drum roll please) Is a '73 Cuda, OE is a 340, 4spd w/3.23 gears. (Now a 360 w/4.10's. Never had the 340 in it.)
Currently under the cover for a spell. Ned to start the body over.

Found this site from a member here that posted a 4sale on his car w/link to here.

Hello.

Hello Rumblefish!  Welcome to the board!  My 17 year old daughter is in the middle of tearing apart her 74 duster with a 318 in it.  Nice cars!  Sure would love to see your cuda if you have some pictures.

Enjoy the site...it's a great place to hang out!

Hummmm, just imagine a out of the can Krylon white w/blacked out twin scoop hood with a body condition that would probably make you ethier cry or puke. I'm going to do a /6 to 318 conversion on the Duster and try my hand at body work on it. This exper. in body work will be my first time and serve to help me do work on the Cuda later, much later.
I'll sell the Duster and roll over the money into another one or something and try more body work. When I'm happy with my skills, work on the Cuda will begin and not until them.
Drivetrain/Mechanical work is a NO brainer. I've been street racing this car for 18 years.

Welcome to the site rumblefish360. You will find a wealth of information here and if you have any question just ask as our members are full of information to answer your qustions or just give advise. Keep us posted on your work with pictures and good luck learning bodywork and I would also work on something else till I had the bodywork thing figured out then work on the Cuda.

:wow: WOW! I'm a gonna have to make some time to address this, so here we go.

First up that grabed my attentions is Killer. Yes killer. Same guy from Moparchat and several other boards. We can talk trash about that later. He he he he.

4cruzin, Ha ha ha, re read my post. It's a preety beat up car. Run Hard and put away wet. I'll snap some shots come spring, but again, I give forboading fair warning, have puke bag on hand.

jakehog;  New guy as well huh? Well then, Hello!

NZ and everybody else, thanks for a warm hello. I see AprilsPink72Cuda is a New Yorker. Where are the current stomping grounds? EVIL72  makes me laff a bit. (Not so easy) Well, my reply is, "If such is the case, don't show up unless I can drive your MoPar. LOL! Then come in and stay for a BBQ, oh wait, in N.Y. it's grilling. And some beer, loud music and if were good, the police will show up. Ahhhh, the good ol'days."
Actually, can't wait for better weather to start up the grill again.

Cool MoPars? Ehhh, what can I say. They were out there when I had some bucks to spend. A 2 year run Magnum draws attention to new younger Magnum owners with a "WTF" look on there face and a few questions to me.
Dusters, once so numerous, like a plauge are getting a little thin around here. Another atten. getter. More so after the V-8 swap and a rumble note.

I'll break out the camera later for current projects so you can all pop popcorn.
