Depending on the price, I think a lot of people will go for it.  But...what's the price?  I, personally, like the old standard dash, but there are a lot of people looking to do something different and there aren't that many options.

Um, that's definitely different.  I too am sure plenty of pro touring people who want all the 'modern' looks will dig into these for their future projects and current cars.  I don't know how I'd like having that as a dash pad, but I could see carbon fiber used elsewhere. (gauge panels)

I can see where it could totally work for a race car as seen in the pictures.  Racers save on weight everywhere they can, and carbon fiber gets an A+ for strength and for being light weight.

I was thinking about doing a carbon fiber gauge panel.   They make sheets made from the real stuff that can be used just like woodgrain kits with an adheasive backing.  I have Carbon Fiber looking grips for a pistol grip shifter already.

If that dash is made with the real stuff, I would bet that might be $2000.  I had a kit for my 2001 Vette that ran me $600 and was only a third the size.

That's an interesting item. I would like to see it in the flesh first. It might be a tad too much for me as far as being shiney and all. I'll bet it costs a little more than any other dashpad out there too.
