Looks like GM has a leak of its 2009 Camaro styling concept... There were 9 pictures in total, some of a half-and-half clay mockup, and other areas like the interior were sketches.  As I post this, two of the pictures are still on an Autoweek Forums post... but probably not for long... check it out:

http://forums.autoweek.com/thread.jspa?forumID=31&threadID=24234&start=60&tstart=0

Five pictures in this thread:

http://forums.autoweek.com/thread.jspa?forumID=31&threadID=24233&messageID=549811#549811

I wonder if anyone copied the pictures?...  :nono:  :bigshades:

Looks like GM Security is going ballistic and making the GM related forums take the pictures down... seems to have scared the heck out of some Admins...  :22yikes:

http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=419262&page=1&pp=20

Might be an intentional leak tho... to counter the press that the new Challenger concept is getting.  :dunno:

Yeah, Cannibal...we're taking you in!  Naaah, just doing the right thing.  It's obvious through all the other forums that have posted the pic that MPH does not want that pic shared.  XS29 had posted the same pic in another thread and I removed that one also.

Do you think it's a decision MPH made or is it something DC did?

Do you think they don't want anything out yet until the debut of the concept car iin January?

The new Camaro pics I saw weren't nearly as attractive as when I originally saw the new mustangs or these Challenger Pics.  The new Camaro pics show some very pronounced edges in the upper quarters, an ugly air intake in the lower quarter behind the doors (I guess if they are function for brake cooling?).  Not being a fan of Camaro's in the first place might make my opinion slightly jaded (ok I dont like the darn things except maybe the 67-69's because every town in america has at least two Camaro's one of which is usually a 70's pile of junk) but i did not find this concept to be remotely visually appealing.  But I havent owned a GM car in my life and probably never will so I am sure GM could care less of my opinion.

Or this?  Is this a new one (concept) or a reborn old one?  I can't tell.  Am I going to get in trouble for posting this one too?!?  :droolingbounce:
