Rear, braided brake hose...
« on: December 06, 2005 - 08:51:23 AM »
It has been a while, but I finally bought a rear braided brake hose for the project.  I called Inline Tube last week and they fabricated one based on the rubber hoses they had on hand for the Cuda.  They added the tee for a little addition money.  It was about $50 total with shipping, but it is very nice job.  I really like the clear coating to the braiding.  It should keep the dirt from embedding in it.  If you notice, they used adapters on the ends, which should make it easier and cheaper to get a replacement if needed.

I have the Baer sport brake conversion kit.  It come with braided lines for the front and rear, but not one for the transition to the axle.  Figured, why have a weak link?
(My car in not running yet, so I can't comment on the performance, just installation.)
