PAINT FOR THE CUDA
« on: December 06, 2005 - 10:11:58 PM »
I HAVE A 71 CUDA CONVERTABLE I'AM RESTORING. ORIG 318 WHITE. PROJECT STARTED 15 YEARS AGO.

I CAN NOT DECIDE ON A COLOR.

I WAS LOOKING AT LIME LITE GREEN 15 YEARS AGO, THEN I CHANGE TO LEMON TWIST YELLOW. ACTUALY PAINTED ENGINE  COMPARTMENT YELLOW.

NOW I LOOKING AT GO GREEN OR PANTHER PINK.

I LIKE THE PINK BECOUSE IT WOULD BE DIFFERENT. I JUST DON'T KNOW IF I CAN LIVE DOWN A PINK CAR.

WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK.

I'AM GOING WITH THE BILLBOARD STRIPE. SHOULD I PAINT IT FLAT BLACK OR GLOSS BLACK.

PLEASE POST PICTURES OF E-BODY CARS WITH THES COLORS.

THANKS      :feedback:

How 'bout triple black with a red interior ?
I saw a Challenger vert painted that way and it was stunning. As far as the billboard goes though just buy the decal..  Painted  one look cheesey

Panther Pink  :bigthumb:  Actually, any '71 Cuda convertible, regardless of engine, is going to be rather valuable.  Go with the white to preserve originiality; its one of those things that is not easily changed.  Dress it up with stripes, wheels, etc.

Is the interior done already?  If so, what color is it?  If not, do you have that color already set in stone?
