reverse light conversion

My 70 challenger was recently converted from auto to orig. 4speed set-up. The reverse lights do not work. All of the original wiring in the car is intact.
 What is different for the light to operate now that it's a 4speed? would the original auto wiring hook to a switch on the 4speed ?

the auto has 3 wires, round pin type  , the 4 spd uses a different plug with 2 spade connectors , you can cut off the plug & just add spade connectors or get a new 4 spd harness from Evans wiring

The car was converted in sept.oct. by the previous owner. He bought it as a complete conversion kit from this guy:

this conversion is for a differnt model but the other day he had an ebody set-up. I'd email him. he has a very good history on ebay with a high rating.
My kit came complete with the 4psd transmission,shifter,pistol,linkage, tunnel sheetmetal,pedals, etc. It shifts good and looks new from the outside...no reverse lights though.
