Good source for correct heater hoses?
« on: December 08, 2005 - 04:44:54 PM »
I got the correct water pump housing for my 70 Hemi engine today (same exact housing was put on  383,440 and 426) with the 1/2" and 5/8" heater hose nipples. I want to get the correct heater hoses- with all the correct numbers and markings, etc. Where is a good place that sells these correct hoses? Thanks.

(The picture below shows the 2 incorrect unmarked 5/8" hoses that are on the car now with the pre-70 housing, but I really put it in because it is more fun to read a post with a picture!)

I'm real happy with the ones I got from Frank at
rogergibsonautorestoration.com.  As good as it gets!

Thanks Guy- I have his catalog and totally forgot that he sold them. (Brain f*rt) $65. I see that Layson's Restorations also lists them for $64- I have ordered from Badalson before, but not Layson's. For future reference, anybody have any good/bad experience with Layson's? I wonder if these hoses are all made by one person and are all identical with different vendors selling them.
