IF you can get that car for $15-20K, then cars are cheaper back there and I paid too much for mine :eek2:

Big Guy I'm in the n/e and I can definitely tell you that prices aren't that cheap around here. Even finding an unrestored  sixpack car, would be like finding a needle in a haystack.

Not sure what they are worth today but I bought a 70 true 440 6pack Cuda that was b5 with a black interior back in 1973 for $1500.00 and drove it home and it was in perfect shape.  Wish I had it back and would love to know where it went and who now owns it.  Don't think I could even find the vin now.  I wish you the best of luck if that is the car of your dreams.  I miss the power it had.  I will be glade just to restore my Barracuda with M46 side scoop option.

Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

Well, never did get back in touch with the owner, as it appears - from one of the earlier posts by someone that knows the owner - that he's not interested in selling it for what I would be willing to pay for it...

Oh, well, guess I'm going to have to be satisfied with my 800 hp street/strip '67 Fairlane until I find that hemi Cuda in a barn somewhere...

Sounds like your current car is a nice ride, but it still is a Blue Oval. And on here it is Mopar or No Car, just kidding.

If Earl is REALLY interested in selling let some of us on the board know. I have a 70 V code Cuda (unrestored, but very complete shaker car) and was offered well in excess of 40K a couple of years ago. I'm not interested in selling but since I have enough parts to build another I would be interested in buying if the price was resonable and I don't expect it to be cheap. We all need to watch these cars before they all end up as trophy's in some museum or some rich movie stars garage. I know the prices have gotten out of hand but those of us that bleed Mopar must try to conserve what's left for the next generation to enjoy....My 2 cents....

Very true but the sad thing is so many people have the idea of saving them, then they sit in a field rotting away, they should be garaged out of the weather or sell them to someone that will.BTW if you dont have anymore room,i have room in my shop for your V code cuda, lol

How is the next generation of Mopar people to enjoy these cars? There was very few made. The ones that are out there are owned by the same people. If a person has one  original six pack cuda, and goes out and buy another; couldn't it be said that this person is denying someone else the right to six pack happiness? :dunno: With prices being what they are, this guy should sell that car for what he can get, because he probably will never be able to buy another one again. The sad truth is the person who bought it cheap wouldn't sell it back to him for the same price. My  :2cents:.

that car on ebay sold for under $23K. Don't know if 'Cudas were the same as r/ts...could you get fender mtd. signals and non rally dash? six pack missing also...
Do you guys think the car sold right? I'd think that rust thing is tough, you fix it all up and it comes back to rear its ugly head. I know I'm lucky to have the Ca. cars....
