'70 Challenger T/A 4 speed (first car)
'70 Challenger R/T V code auto that had a 383 in it when I owned it
'71 'cuda 340 auto loaded, that had been a dealer showroom demo car
'70 Challenger convertible 383 auto

I bought the T/A in 1978 and still have it, well, I still own it, I haven't "had" it for a number of years since it went off to the resto shop, where not much gets done, leaving me to question if I will ever "have" it again. :'(
I bought the convertible in '97 and still own it and drive often on nice weekends with the top down of course!
The V code and the cuda I bought when I was in college back in the early 80's.  The V code was solid but needed a 440 6 pack engine, paint and detailing.  I decided to sell it after I bought the cuda. I wonder where it is now.........
The cuda only had 29,000 miles on it when I bought it from the original owner. It even still had the original tires.  I have never seen a cuda with as many options as this car had, the guy had bought it off the dealer's showroom.  It had been repainted a different color than its original purple, and had a lot of bondo.  I took it in to have the bodywork done right and to be repainted the original color.  The painter called me a few days after I dropped it off and told me I should get rid of it, the frame and floor were rusting out.  The wealthy middle aged owner had used it mostly to drive a mile back and forth to the train station every day and the salt they dump on the streets in winter had trashed the car over the 11 years he used it for his daily commute.  What a shame, that car must of been specatacular when it was new and I wish there was some way I could have saved it!

Wow, this is an old thread!!!!  But it's good it was reopened as we've gained quite a few new faces since then.

I still just own my one '73 Challenger, but future plans include several more E-bodies before my time's up. :2thumbs:

Oh, and I love reading the first page where CODY said he doesn't own any E-bodies....Now he has so many cool rides that are all being resurrected. :2thumbs:  :clapping:

I am sure I cannot remember all of them but here is a partial list:

1st car - 1971 Challenger 318 in 1985
2nd car - 1971 Challenger 318 ragtop in 1986 that I sold to a friend and bought back 5 years later with a 440 Six Pack in it.
3rd Car - 1970 Cuda 340
4th car - 1972 Rallye
5th Car - 1973 Rallye
6th car - 1970 Challenger Convertible

and then at least 25 other Ebodies in between then and now including a few that I owned more than once. There were at least 4 other convertible Challengers, two convertible b'Cudas, and goodness knows what else.

Currently, I own a 1970 Burnt Orange Challenger project that's getting R/T  "cloned" and a 1970 Pro-Street Challenger that is going to look like a T/A Pro-Street.

My favorites were a 1971 Challenger R/T 340 car I got from challenger6pak that I totally redid top to bottom inside & out.  It was EW3 White with a b5 blue interior.  The only thing I did not finish get to that car was the a/c.  Next favorite was the one shown in my sig - 1971 Convertible I did Plum Crazy with a 440 and shaker.

My Pro-Street will probably move to the top of the list once I re-do it

2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Mega Cab 5.7 Hemi

1972 Dodge Demon - "new" project

AND TOO MANY OTHER MOPARS THROUGH MY HANDS TO COUNT

None yet. The only Mopar I've ever owned was a 91 Grand Caravan. ;) I'm 25 and I've never owned a muscle car or even driven one for that matter. Driven IN them quite a few times though. Love the sound, love the look, etc.

My daily driver is a 2004 Acura TL. Great car but it's not very inspiring.

As evidenced by my sig text and picture, I've finally got my first house (needed garage space), now I get to save up for a running Cuda. I'd love to get a clean running 71 Barracuda, but finding one that hasn't been cloned out into a Hemi clone seems like it will be difficult.

I just really want to avoid having to do any major metal or body work with my first one. I just want to buy it and enjoy it and upgrade it when I feel the need.

Hopefully the cash flow situation won't be a problem. If all goes well I should be joining the ranks of actual owners in a few months time. Provided I can find a suitable car in the same timeframe.

The new year can't come soon enough. (OO ]]][[[ OO)
