My Hemi is 101/2 to one.  They are a little more tolerent of compression than wedges, but I run pump gas all day long with no problems  :burnout: Oldschool

yes & no
the domes can be trimmed off to lower compression , or you can use a thicker head gasket to decompress a little
it really depends on the cam , a short duration cam will build a lot of cylinder pressure & puts the powerband low where it will ping , a long duration cam will do the opposite & should be Ok & generally will not ping in the 2500 rpm range where the engine will make power , you will also need a loose converter with 2800 stall so no load is on the engine where it would ping
I don`t like the 2295 piston for flame travel though
