I wonder if this is the same "Sox & Martin" car in your picture.  Go here and take a look.  www.atlantamusclecars.com  Enter the museum and showroom link and scroll down.  This is the car that is going to Barrett-Jackson in Jan.  I'm curious how much it will bring............Oldschool

Not sure if it's the same one, but it's possible.  I think the original S & M Cuda is still MIA.  I talked to a friend, who is an expert on old Mopar race cars, and he said that this particular car was the one they raced in the 80s.  I forget who it originally belonged to....

Not sure hero is the proper word here but I always thought Richard Petty was a class act.

Yes there was a Donohue Javelin  in 70 , he won the trans Am series in 71 in the Javelin
