3-speed manual to A-833 4 speed.

I's it hard the do a trans switch from 3 speed manual to 4 speed manual on a Cuda?
Do I use the same bellhouse etc?? Are the pedals the same???

the pedals are the same , I belive the Belhousing is the same , depending on the diameter of the input brg retainer the rest will bolt in

Ok, so it's a bolt on job. The reason I'm asking is, I'm think of buying a 3 speed manual and converting it to a 4 speed, as it's cheaper to buy then a 4 speed car.

My father and I just converted his 3-speed small-block challenger to a 4-speed this summer. It is a bolt in operation, you will of course need a new shifter mechanism and the only hiccup we had was the bolt holes on the bellhousing....they were there, but since they sat outside the 3-speed mounting holes they were full of grime so make sure you clean the threads up. I also know that it is a bolt in operation for big blocks because my 383 Challenger was originally a 3-speed and is now a 4-speed.
