Now, how does it feel to be envied by everyone around you?  :worshippy
Strange feeling, isn't it?
Welcome to our world...get used to being stared at all of the time. Everywhere you go people will stop you and want to talk to you about the following:

1. The cuda they had in highschool.
2. The cuda their buddy had in high school, or was it a challenger?
3. The time they rode in their buddy's cuda doing 150 mph and smoked a corvette.
4. The hemi cuda they almost bought one time for $500.
5. The hemi cuda they sold one time for $500.
6. The hemi cuda that their buddy sold (or was it bought?) one time for $500.
7. etc...
8. etc...
9. etc...

Personally, I never get tired of it. It's cheap entertainment and the story's always a little different.

Here's the best advice that anyone will ever give you...NEVER SELL IT !!!

Enjoy...

Yes welcome to our world. hotrod, its funny you mention that because when I first bought my car and I was delivering it back to North Dramatica I had one guy tell me I used to have a Challenger when I was in the service or people would say that's a Challenger huh?

There are folks out there who want 72,73,74 Specifically.  Maybe to replace one they had or their dad had.
Or maybe they like the styling better. I like the later Cuda grille and tailights over the 70's any day.
when I was looking I could have afforded a 70 or 71 , but hey - I don't want what most people do.
So I have a 74 360 4 spd car. No matter how you slice it, I'm sure that is the rarest small block factory combo.
 { your 3 speed isn't a pistol grip so it doesn't count  :screwy: }

PS -  74 'Cuda for sale - not perfect, $50,000 ..... :burnout:    hahaha!

74 'Cuda + 73 Charger Rally + $$ + assembly= Noble M400
 03 Ram Hemi 4x4
 78 Aspen Super Coupe

Well, I have really enjoyed this thread.Especially the pic of the bald 15 yr old! Its good to know we can keep our debates light hearted.
I want to go in a little different direction. My 70 Gran Coupe is strictly a race car.It has been heavily modified and cut(N0 I didnt do it) Factory interior gone coilover front  and rear susp rack& pinion steering etc--etc all these things that make it a good race car but severly diminish its worth in the general market Although it would make an excellent pro-street car. I think the car is worth about 10--14K---My question Is my car worth any more than a similiar race car? just because its a 70 Cuda? Does its value increase along with the street versions? With the 70 Cudas going off the scale price wise would anybody be willing to pay 20 K for this car just to get one, maybe with the intention to put it back on the strret?

Thats another good question and since I have been watching the prices of race cuda's (thinking about getting one), I agree with you that the worth of the cuda is diminished once converted to a drag car.  I have seen many sell for little because of this.   :dunno:
