Why Doesn't Anyone Build One of these for the StreeT?

I have never seen a clone of one of these on the street.  The Daks are cheap enough, they're easy to tub, will accommodate a V-8 and they do look cool. Even if ya just had a warmed over 318 in them, they would be a blast to drive.

You should have been at Carlisle last year. There was a Dakota trolling around the fairgrounds with a double blown engine in it. I'm not sure if it was a hemi or not, but maybe others can refresh my memory??? In any case, you knew it was coming by the lope, lope, lope. He was riding his brakes the whole time.   Must get 100 miles to the brake pads.  :lol2: I hope someone here has a picture of it.

If you're talking about the red one, then it has a 360 in it. It was also at the Chrysler Classic at Norwalk, OH and there was a article about it in one of the mopar magazines lately. There are a couple people that have tubbed dakotas, most are 360s but I do remember seeing an intense blue 440 powered one. I also remember seeing pictures of a V10 viper powered dak and another that had a 426 or 528 crate hemi. Banks also has the Cummins 5.9 powered one that holds the record for worlds fastest truck.........
