Best Vendors
« on: December 23, 2005 - 01:00:09 AM »
So, apart from the big guys (summit, jeggs, yearone, legendary etc), what are the best vendors of mopar parts?  I'm compiling a list of vendors with catalogs, and an online presence to start planning my challenger restoration budget.  Where do the rest of you shop?
For the simply unattainable (headerpanel, front bumper), I've been going to swap meets, craigs list and ebay.  But for the suspension, brakes, drivetrain and engine I'm going to go all new. I'm interested in quality/price/service opinions.

Anyone have experience with the following?
http://www.mopartsracing.com
http://www.jimsautoparts.com

Thanks!

You will be overwhelmed with people telling you to stay away from "Jim's". Other places are Jack's auto parts, the Paddock(they are like Year One), and Layson's has gotten into the repro game. Other than that, E-Bay is your best bet for things not being reproduced.
