I've been RAMMED
« on: December 24, 2005 - 07:50:45 AM »
This is for all you Dodge RAM owners out there. This is what happens when traffic stops suddenly on a very busy interstate and you stop but a  2003 Dodge Ram behind you traveling about 50 to 60 mph DOESN"T STOP!! and pushes you into a ford pick up with a trailer hitch.
OUCH !!
Yes I think my poor subaru is going to be totaled out. Nice Christmas present. On the other the Ram held up pretty well with the bumper pushed in a bit but that was about it.

JS, I hope no one was hurt. The Subaru can be replaced but if you had been driving your GTX or Challenger, Well I just don't want to think about it  :walkaway:

Yes no one was really hurt. I got the worst of it. The next day is when I felt it the most. Mostly my neck and back which I figured on but I didn't know why my chest and side down by my hip hurt. Then it hit me ....SEATBELT.. !!
I don't even want to think about my Challenger or GTX getting hit but it does happen....

Glad to hear everyone is OK JS....those seat belts save lives and protect you against worse injuries, but they will leave you sore after an accident. The car can be replaced, your health is whats important.

I'm glad you're ok, that wouldn't be good at all to be in the hospital on Christmas. :eek4:

With the way the rear 1/4's are folded up, I'm surprised the two side windows didn't blow out too.

Seat belts save lives! I was in a head-on in my patrol car about two years ago....the seatbelt bent my bullet proof vest breast plate! I still use the plate for good luck!!

I'm glad you came through ok js27. Some years ago i nailed a pine tree (app 5ft around) with my 76 LTD. Two things worked in my favor - frame as point of impact and Seat Belts Please wear 'em folks
