Hood release
« on: December 27, 2005 - 08:17:22 AM »
Hope everyone had a good Christmas, I sure did.

This is a two part question. First, can someone tell me how that little hood spring doo-hickey stays attached. This is that single spring that assists in pushing open the hood after it is released. And the way I see it this spring sort of just sits in place and I don't see how it is supposed to keeping from vibrating away.

Second, what method  have people used to polish up the headlight bezel? The material looks to be possibly made of some kind of cast aluminum.

Happy New Year.

the end of the spring goes through the hole in the steel tab the other side of the spring twists under the L shaped tab to hold it in place , possibly 1 of the tabs is bent
