I really hate how many cars that the ruined in this movie.   :crying:

 By the way, whats up with the later mode(72/73?)l red R/T Challenger. I didn't think clones were around in 74 :dunno:

it makes me sick to see all the great mopars destroyed... like the one im talking about specically is that red challenger they just stole from the chrysler/plymouth dealership... and then put it in the grinder  :swear: :banghead: :pullinghair: :stomp:

If you happened to notice, one of those VIN tags they showed for the red Challenger was a JS23U car  :walkaway:

Painful to watch. I also noticed things about the challenger like the trim around the hood/fenders was not painted like 72-74. Before the movie they talked about the little budget, maybe they used what ever they could get to make the cars presentable. Maybe they wanted to make the cars look like new models since the film was made in 74(?). Guess a new 73-74 challenger was probably worth more at the time than a used 70.

I think it was 5pm when it started here.
 
Yea I noticed the 72 Challenger with the R/T badge and the black tail stripe, I was like....what the...???

I am mad cause I don't have the Speed Channel here.  I haven't seen the original version of Gone In 60 Seconds yet, just the one with Nicholas Cage.  After seeing this thread, I think it might be too sad to watch!
