Just came across this site and had to join. Cheers to many a fine car on this site ... could not help but introduce you to my girl....

Inherited her from my pops who was first owner. Numbers matching 440, although he did perform some bodywork of his own , it was the only way to fit the large bias plys of the day under the sheet metal.... heres a quick look at how i got her , up to where she at now.   Look forward to meeting some of you and sharing the trials and tribulations of restoring a great car...

Welcome  :newbie: I think it's great you're keeping the car in the family where it belongs!

Wish my Dad had been into e-bodies instead of Model A's.

Welcome to the site, Brad!!!!  Your car's looking great! :grinyes: :droolingbounce:  It's good to see you were able to utilize the newer full quarter panels instead of trying to screw around with the old skins.  It looks like everything lined up great with the new quarters installed.  Keep up the awesome work and be sure to keep us up-to-date with the restoration.

THANKS  for the response.  Originally it was b5 blue, and had a wizard mural on the hood that matched the color of the painted on stripe. It was severly faded and rust was starting to come through so i had to sand and paint the white to start with.   The rims are American Racing Hopster's rears are 18 x 10 with 4.5 inch back spacing. The fronts are 18 x 8 with 4 inch back spacing. The tires are NITTO steet legal drags, 305 x 45 x 18 rear and 225 x 40 x 18 up front. ( they measure 29 in tall in the rear and 12 in wide appox and 25 in tall and 9 in wide in the front. ) of course with the new quarters from Goodmark the rear tires will be replaced with something less obnoxious. With any luck the chrome shop should be calling this week with all the taillight, markerlight and headlight bezels, ect. so i can get back to work, :working:
