Challenger screen saver
« on: December 31, 2005 - 06:07:24 PM »
I have this Challenger screen saver that shows a revolving set of challengers I found somewhere on the internet.
The Calendar idea worked great, but limited the number of CC members cars to 12.
Does anyone know if it'd be difficult to make a screen saver that would go from one members car to another on a continous basis?  :dunno:
It could be updated now and then and downloaded.

I think its a neat and novel idea.     Poor poor me doesnt have his car finished enough yet to warrant being a screensaver, but I would relish looking at others cars.      However I am technologically retarded and have no idea if or how this could be done.

I think it's a great idea. I have both a Challenger and Barracuda screen saver that even has music along with the pictures. I'm not sure how hard it is to make as I bought both of these off ebay around 4 years ago.

That is a great idea. I would love to see the Challengers and Cudas of the sight go by while I work.

and as far as I'm concerned gomango, projects pictured in an interesting way would be fine with me. Obviously the pictures should be of good quality.

afterall that is a big part of what this site is all about ! :ylsuper:

if you have windows Xp pro- it's already built in- just go to the display properties for the screen saver section- click onto the " My Pictures sideshow "

any pics in the folder " my pictures " will be displayed!!!

Sounds like a great idea--  I'm in the process of buildiing a place on my server to handle the collection of images we can use for screensavers.  If you want your car in a screensaver you can start uploading your images here
